  Def, not knowing it's a dive bar and walking in for a casual date MAY not be the best choice. This is true. If Counting Crows and sandals are your scene, def not the place for you. During the day you will run into some colorful characters, also during happy hour-however(knock on wood) never had an issue out of the few times I've been there. I was brought here by a friend who played pool there once a month or something. Upon my arrival I noticed the following: Internet jukebox-check, CHEAP beer-check, pool tables-check, a few sketchy people at the bar-check...so I said f*ck it. There was a crew of about 6 of us, we played pool, got some pitchers of beer and had a good time. This was probably 3 years ago. Since then I have been back a few times to see a band (Sat night) which was actually quite good, there was no cover that I remember and a more familiar crowd. I would say this: Date? No. Dive bar with cheap beer to consider for Sat night wastathon to a rock band? Possibility.

  There is new staff!! Kitchen is open now. Specials daily cheap happy hour. More entertainment. 2 pool tables 2 dart boards bowling beer pong video games awesome time!
